Terms of Use

Who may play

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into an agreement under the laws that apply to you. The planned game is for voluntary play with people you know and trust. It does not include public matchmaking.

Private rooms and fair play

Share the room code only with intended players. Keep your personal access details private and protect access to your device. Choose a display name that is lawful and respectful. A room host can manage the room, including starting or ending a game and removing a member. Follow the rules shown in the app and report tags honestly. Leaving an active round counts as a forfeit. GUHandS cannot guarantee that players will not cheat or that every game result will be accurate.

Play safely

You are responsible for choosing a safe, lawful place and deciding whether conditions are suitable. Agree on a play zone that everyone can use. Keep it away from roads, railways, water hazards, and restricted areas. Do not trespass; obtain permission before playing on private property. Follow local laws, signs, closures, and property rules. A map circle is not permission to enter a place.

Stop moving before looking at or using your phone. Do not use GUHandS while driving or cycling. Agree to gentle, consensual physical tagging; never use force, threaten, harass, or pursue someone who has stopped playing. Prioritize your safety over the game and leave at any time. GUHandS is not an emergency service or a tool for supervising someone's safety.

Location and device limits

Location is needed for readiness and gameplay. If you start a round and grant permission, the planned game may use background location while your iPhone is locked. Review our Privacy Policy for details about collection, visibility, and retention. GPS accuracy, connectivity, battery, and operating-system background behavior can affect locations, timers, or results. Continuous tracking and uninterrupted service are not guaranteed. Do not use the game to stalk, monitor, or track anyone outside consensual play.

Things you may not do

Do not use GUHandS to harass or stalk anyone, share another player's location or screenshots without consent, spoof location to gain an unfair advantage, access a room or position you are not authorized to see, disrupt the service, or violate any law.

Your use and our rights

We give you a personal, noncommercial, limited permission to use GUHandS while you follow these terms. GUHandS and its branding, software, and other materials belong to their respective owners and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You keep any rights you have in the display name and game input you provide. You allow us to use that information only as needed to operate and provide the service.

Availability and charges

The first release is planned to be free to host and join, with no subscriptions or in-app purchases. If we add a paid feature later, we will show its price and terms before you buy it. Apple or Google may have separate terms for their stores and services. The game is an early version and may change, be interrupted, or become unavailable. A host may end a room. We may restrict or end access when needed to address a violation or protect players and the service. You can stop using GUHandS at any time.

Disclaimers and limits

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GUHandS is provided “as is” and “as available,” without guarantees that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, safe for every setting, or produce accurate game outcomes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GUHandS will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or reduces mandatory consumer rights, including any rights or protections that apply to personal injury, negligence, or fraud.

Changes and contact

We will update the date above when these terms change. We will give notice of material changes before they apply; changes will not apply retroactively. If you do not agree, stop using GUHandS.
